The NPS has a school Counselor to guide, motivate and counsel the students at the time of need. The counselor in the school is technically trained and qualified, who understands child psychology in the best possible manner and accordingly guides the students on need basis. This kind of counselor in a school is a rare availability in this region. The school authority requests parents to meet the counselor at least twice a year for the development of their ward. 

As done in the western countries especially in the United Kingdom, children are guided to select their future career from class VII onwards depending upon their intelligence, area of interest, abilities and performance. 

The Principal, Vice Principal and the school Counselor host personal meetings with the parents along with their wards, in order to guide them in selecting proper career option for the future of their ward. 

Accordingly the school provides academic coaching in various subjects either through VSAT [Very Small Aperture Terminology] or through interactive classroom coaching in collaboration with the most reputed coaching institutes in Delhi and Kota.
