National Public School has over 5,00,000 sq ft carpet area with marble floor, tiles and ceramic finish. The construction work is nearing completion at a fast track. It has six major building blocks and a separate mini hospital besides the exterior campus.

Academic Block

This block houses Reception, Director’s chamber, Principal’s chamber, Vice-Principal’s chamber, Public Relation officer’s chamber, accounts section, senior staff room, junior staff room, conference hall, VSAT Room, class rooms, Computer lab, Physics laboratory, Chemistry laboratory, Biology laboratory, Mathematics laboratory, Language laboratory, Web resource center, sports room, digital audio-visual teaching hall, library, art studio, gymnasium, music centre, MI room, study halls, uniform shop, kids’ siesta dorm, lavatories and a visitor's room.

Exterior Campus

There is ample open space at NPS with one Open-Air Theater [The Brahmaputra Auditorium], swimming pool, football & cricket ground, amusement park, two basketball courts, volleyball court, badminton courts, tennis court, assembly ground, mineral water plant, water treatment plant and a parking area. An artificial water-fall welcomes the students at the very entrance of the school.

There are staff quarters, PCO, and a Shopping Mall with Ice-cream parlour. The 1,50,000 liter water reservoir and the 125 KVA silent generator set are the added features.

Transportation

NPS provides school bus facility for the convenience and safe travel of the day boarder students. The bus stops at the specified stoppages. Parents / Guardians are responsible to take care of their children in bringing them and to taking them back home from these points.

PCO

A PCO is provided inside the School campus for the benefit of the students for prompt communication with their parents and guardians on every Sunday. The bill charged against the students is deducted from their pocket money [imprest account] deposited in the school.

Web-Resource Centre
At the Web-resource Center, the students and the faculty can browse the broad band Internet connection provided by private internet service provider, to remain connected to the world of knowledge. Enterprising students get a chance to gain familiarity with the Internet and are also able to do comprehensive research for their project work.

Library

NPS has a specious and well-stocked library with large collection of books. It has sections ranging from textbooks and reference books to fiction, general knowledge and encyclopedia. Since the school aims at learning to be a fun process, there is an assortment of books and magazines available on general topics and separate sections for hobby-related books, books on travel, animal care, short stories, drama, poetry, astrology, personality development and tens of other topics for the students to pick up the habit of reading naturally. The library also provides several reputed dailies, weeklies and monthly magazines. Special Library hours are allotted as a part of class routine and free accessibility is offered to students after class hours as well.

Conference Hall

The conference hall with a seat capacity of approx 300 for holding group discussions, workshops and meetings catering to a small group of students intimately. Selective documentaries and films are also screened here for the aesthetic development of the students.
